DMV HEARING REQUEST INFORMATION
If you or someone you know has received a Citation or was Arrested for a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) of Drugs or Alcohol, then certain rules and procedures will come into play immediately. Therefore, action must be taken immediately to protect certain rights available to the accused defendant.
Most importantly, the person accused of a DUI has only 10 days from the Citation or Arrest to request an Administrative DLD Hearing with regard to suspension of that person's driver's license.
DLD stands for Driver's License Division and is a part of Utah's Department of Public Safety.
Most attorneys recommend that all defendants request this hearing!
