The Utah Justice Foundation has a MISSION to inform, to educate, and to seek Justice for ALL involved with the criminal justice system in the state of Utah.
We seek to help criminal defendants receive fair and balanced Justice for their particular circumstances and case!
We seek long-term solutions for each defendant, while being mindful of the interests of victims and society.
JUVENILE CRIME CASES
The criminal justice system tends to focus most on punishment.
At the Utah Justice Foundation, we seek to inform and educate as to solutions for each particular situation - not one size fits all.
We use non-judgmental and forward-thinking approaches as we work with each defendant and his or her attorney to design a program for the defendant to achieve what he or she wants for his or her life in accord with society, in addition to paying all debts owed to society.
We seek to be mindful of any victims - past, present and future - as we pursue our primary objective for each and every defendant to exit the criminal justice system permanently - thereby resulting in long-term benefits for ALL - for the defendant, for law enforcement, for the courts, for society, and for the citizens of Utah.
Give us a call at 801-878-9260,
and we will explain what may be appropriate for your particular case!

Juvenile Justice in Utah
The Juvenile Courts in Utah address criminal cases for those up to the age of 18. There would be little argument that the Juvenile Courts handle criminal defendants differently than Utah's Justice Courts and District Courts handle adult criminal defendants. Perhaps the most glaring distinction is the involvement of the young defendant's parents or guardian in the Juvenile Court process.
Many questions are now being asked concerning the treatment of some juvenile offenders as adults - should we? For a thought provoking video on the subject, see the video screen in the right column above. The second video is an example of how juveniles may be handled differently to get their attention early on in life.
Regardless of your opinion on the subject of how juvenile defendants should be treated, it is important to be well prepared and have an attorney before going to court or visiting with court personnel regarding a juvenile defendant.
The Criminal Justice System is complicated ...
so don't be afraid to ask for help!
