Notice: Amendment of URCrP 33 – Regulation of Courtroom Conduct

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Rule 33 of Utah’s Rules of Criminal Procedure has been amended.

Summary: Regulation of conduct in the courtroom. Amend. The amendments will permit a judge to sanction an attorney or party for incivility in pleadings or courtroom conduct.

Effective Date: The amendment becomes effective on November 1, 2008.
